internet filtering

In the light of the fact that I returning to the school internet system, and websense filtering, I have been looking into the whole question of internet filtering in school. This is a very good model that I have found - http://www.mrstucke.com/2010/10/08/a-progressive-approach-to-the-internet-in-school/

online digital video resources

youtube video editor - http://www.youtube.com/editor  it will do basic trimming, splicing, transitions, and you can add music. The constraint of course in working online is the quality of the video - which has to remain low resolution, otherwise it would take ages to upload (video files tend to be huge).

The benefit is that it is free and that students know youtube well.

vimeo does not seem to have an online editing facility yet, but they do have a new video school -

and this is a sample, which is fun -
